Synopsis

It’s been 15 years since the end of the world, and new york city is the last safe place on earth for humanity. When corpses first started rising  from the grave, those left alive in new york had far too much trouble with the dead roaming the island.  Overwhelmed by the ones coming from other boroughs, a decision was made to blow up the bridges and flood the tunnels.   Using the water around manhattan as a natural defense, nothing could get in or out of the island. That’s when they started clearing the dead from the streets.  With the city free and clear, new york has started to rebuild and is accepting survivors from around the world. Now that the gates are open, new yorkers are constantly reminded of the infection coming back. They will protect their home furiously to keep it from ever spreading again.
